Where Black beauty, innovation, and heritage took center stage.
The Washington Hair & Fashion Show’s hair segment was a love letter to Black excellence, one part cultural showcase, one part runway renaissance. Celebrity stylists delivered moments that blurred the line between fashion and sculpture—each head a crown, each style a story. @beautifulbraids2014 opened with intricate braided structures that were architectural masterpieces. @RadiantStyles_By_Darie brought vivid color theory to life, delivering electric-hued bobs and neon faux locs that shimmered under the lights. @DetrixHairLab.online stunned with editorial sculpted edges, while @edwardthestylist and @ejeintlhair gave us luxe volume, sky-high curls, and decadent waves.
From lace units styled to red carpet perfection by @hair2style62 and @kendrakouturehair, to royal loc arrangements by @theofficialbeardedbrother, every artist on the lineup turned the stage into a moving gallery of hair innovation. @simonbechara_hair closed the segment with a theatrical runway finale of platinum-blonde mohawks adorned with crystals. The audience roared in approval.
The glam was polished by a fierce team of celebrity MUAs: @ericakartistry, @beautynmotion_mua, @bloustudios, @la.young.mua, @thebeatbarbie, @theofficialjosiesfaces, and @xo.kJabre. Together, they turned faces into palettes of glam perfection.
Runway Reverie: The Fashion Showcase

From the very first strut down the runway, the fashion portion of the Washington Hair & Fashion Show declared itself as a high-style spectacle. Every look delivered was purposeful—dripping in detail, bold in silhouette, and rooted in storytelling.
@Awdesign_7 set the tone with sleek, body-contouring silhouettes in metallics and mesh. @bruselivingartapparel followed with wearable art pieces—jackets that looked painted, skirts that moved like brushstrokes. @corjorinterntional gave old Hollywood glamour a futuristic twist, while @mr.vaughn_0215 wowed with structured tailoring in neon leather and chrome. @matveeva.store leaned into ethereal fantasy with sheer gowns adorned in crystals, while @michemichi_ delivered a bold androgynous capsule that mixed power suits with delicate fabrics. @shop.therunway and @greyymonde brought color explosions and streetwear flair, respectively, and @glitteeeeeeeeer and @valennciiventora wrapped the night with high-drama sparkle and avant-garde silhouettes.
Vendors added luxe layers to the event experience, including @prestigeconceptsboutique, Re’Mixed By Monè, @Romiasboutique, and @shinyindividual, curating pop-up experiences filled with fashion, accessories, and glam essentials.
Guided by Executive Director @mr_dcfashionweek, and produced by Jimmy Jones, the event was flawlessly executed. With music direction by @djease, backstage management by @dograhe_lovell, and visual storytelling by Director of Photography @phelanmarc, the night proved once again that D.C. doesn’t just host fashion—it defines it.
