Hello, amazing people! I’m Kia, the visionary behind KLS Image Photography, your ultimate expert in capturing the essence of weddings, events, and portraits. Based in the dynamic Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area, I’m also your passport to photographing those breathtaking destination elopements.

Imagine this: I fell in love with photography at 15, and that passion has only intensified. My journey began with a BA in Graphic Design and Photography from Morgan State University in 2005, and evolved with an MA in Art and Design from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2008. I spent over a decade perfecting visual wonders through KLS Designz & Print, but in 2018, I fully embraced my passion for photography.

I’m not just about traditional credentials—I hold certificates from The Hollywood Art Institute & Allison School and have made a global impact with my work featured in over 100 publications, including G.O.A.T Magazine and Brand Model Magazine. I’m also a proud member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America).
